Service Description

AYA Tanzania’s English Medium Camp is an exciting enrichment program. Courses include: Tessellations and Traditions (math), Plants Count (science) and A is for Afrika (English). Here are the classes: Tessellations and Traditions - Nature was the first mathematician. Afrikan people were her first students. Learn the fundamental principles of geometry by creating art inspired by our ancestors rooted in our deep mathematical understanding. Plants Count - There is a profound biochemistry within the traditional healing that has provided self-reliance for our people. Chyote, aloe vera, and a variety of plants have been used to stitch wounds, knock out malaria, and even cure cancer. Let’s get our hands dirty and grow plants that heal. A is for Afrika - The A is for Afrika, S is for Sovereignty alphabet book was written by Mzee Baoku. It is rich in both self-affirming concepts and vocabulary. Students will increase their English fluency one letter at a time. Here are the details: - Boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 10 years are invited to this camp. - The Camp is four weeks long. June 3rd through June 28 - Our classes start at 9am and end at 3pm each day, Monday - Friday. You may drop your child off as early as 8:30am and pick them up as late at 3:30pm. - A healthy vegetarian lunch is included. - The price for all four weeks is $195 (approximately 495,000Tsh) - Transportation is available at an additional cost. A little about the instructors: Evelyn and Baoku Duduyemi are the co-directors of Kibolebole Educational Institute, co-owners of Homemade Joy coaching services, AYA Educational Institute Warrior-Healer-Builder Full Facilitators, and co-founders of the NGO, AYA Tanzania. Evelyn holds a bachelors degree in Physics with a minor in Mathematics. Baoku hold an MBA. Both have been teaching children and adults for many years.
