Service Description

Across the U.S., schools are narrowing what children can learn about race, history, and culture. Too many sit in rooms where their stories are missing. Kibolebole was built for this moment. Kibolebole Saturday School is an online, Afrikan-centered learning space where children belong, learn powerfully, and thrive. Each Saturday morning includes four uplifting classes that strengthen memory, culture, language, creativity, and pride. When: January–May (9-12:15 ET, online) Early Bird: 50% off until Dec 1 when entire course paid upfront Tuition: $250/month Elephants Never Forget Memory Mastery for Afrikan Youth (with Mama Evelyn) Many bright students struggle to remember what they just heard or read, not because they can’t, but because constant scrolling weakens focus. This 45-minute class teaches how memory works and offers simple, proven techniques like chunking, visualization, and retrieval, all through joyful Afrikan stories and images. Families notice: quicker recall, stronger classroom follow-through, and more confident listening and reading. Soundtrack of Our People Learning Our Story Through Music (with Baba Baoku) Young people know the songs but often not the stories. This warm, discussion-based course slows us down to listen deeply and learn how Afrikan and Diaspora music carries our history, courage, grief, joy, and genius. Students explore lyrics, sounds, and eras, no instruments required. Families notice: stronger cultural literacy, richer conversations, and growing pride in who we are. East Afrikan Voices Maasai & Swahili Language and Culture (with Baba Lothy) Instead of tourism images or quick videos, students meet the real voices of East Afrika. Baba Lothy guides them through Maa and Swahili using stories, expressions, cultural practices, and everyday conversation. Children learn not memorized lists, but worldview, rhythm, and relationship. Families notice: confidence using Maa and Swahili and a deeper appreciation for East Afrikan life. Drawing Our Future Thinking Like an Afrikan Architect (with Ayodele) Architecture teaches children to truly see the world. Through simple drawing exercises and design challenges, Ayodele helps students notice patterns, shapes, and space the way young Afrikan architects do. No special tools needed, just paper, pencil, and curiosity. Families notice: stronger observation, creative confidence, problem-solving, and pride in imagining Afrikan futures. **Buy now, pay later using Klarna at checkout**
