Join us on Sunday Jul 7 at 9AM ET 1 Session, $25 When I was a kid, I rarely did my homework. That didn't stop me from learning - a lot. I talked to my Dad about history, science and current events. My mother kept track of the topics that I was most interested in at any given moment and left books on my bed several times a month. The TV in my room was usually tuned to the public broadcasting channel. As an adult, I've continued to enjoy learning. I have enjoyed the learning process and, as an additional benefit, I am often amazed at the economic advantage I have from all of the random knowledge that I've accumulated. In recent years people have started reading less and less. I've felt myself getting sucked into the 140 character mindset. I've realized that taking the time to read and learn more is an important part of my self-care.
