Join us on Sunday Jun 2 at 9AM ET 1 Session, $25 When my now teenaged daughter reached the "terrible twos,” I discovered something quite interesting. The more organized and uncluttered I kept her room, the better she behaved. As I surrounded her with more and more physical beauty, her actions became more and more beautiful. It took me some time to accept that my own surroundings have a profound impact on me as well. With practice I have learned to create and maintain spaces that increase and protect my capacity. When I am feeling "out of sorts," one of the things that I assess first is the state of my surroundings. A few minutes perking up the space I am in will often result in a significant boost to my energy, creativity and willingness to do whatever it is that needs to be done. Consistent effort pays even greater dividends. Our surroundings and our inner worlds are reflections of each other. The impacts travel in both directions.
