Service Description

Engaging, interactive, and supportive, the Stay Ready Math Lab is designed to provide continuous weekly support for middle school and high school students enrolled in Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. Each session focuses on helping students with homework, problem-solving, and understanding key concepts, ensuring they stay on top of their studies throughout the school year. The Math Lab also introduces interesting mathematical concepts and highlights Black mathematicians to spark students’ interest and curiosity about mathematics. Key Features: • Weekly 1.5-hour sessions • Interactive and hands-on activities • Mini-lectures on fascinating mathematical concepts • Emphasis on problem-solving and homework help • Spotlight on Black mathematicians to inspire students Schedule: Every Sunday, 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM ET Note: We will not meet during the November, December and April Holidays.
